ATI CATALYST 3.10 VS ATI CATALYST 4.1 VS ATI CATALYST 4.2
A new driver has been released, ATI CATALYST 4.2. Things changed lately, there is now a fresh new demo ready to create benchmark results. Yesterday released ATI CATALYST 4.2 drivers are based on the RADEON 7.98 display drivers, again two new features added in this suite like Component Video Output and updated Direct3D Settings. Component Video could be found in the ATI Control Panel and is available on the ATI RADEON 8500 and higher products. The updated Direct3D setting now allows the RADEON 9500 or higher products to apply the Direct3D settings without the monitor’s display going blank. The release notes also mentioned that Unreal Tournament 2003 has about 15% improvements in the framerates and the framerates in Halo Combat Evolved are up 3 to 4% with the RADEON?￠a€??￠ 9200, 9000, and 8500 series.View : ATI CATALYST 3.10 VS ATI CATALYST 4.1 VS ATI CATALYST 4.2
