Windows Messenger 5.0 Screenshots
Bink.nu post : I have some screenshots for you of the next version of Windows Messenger 5.0. Why are there 2 messenger releases? Well first I thought windows messenger was discontinued for monopoly reasons and that MS the switched back to MSN messenger which is a voluntarily download. Now it seems that Windows messenger is the business IM client (Professional) and MSN the consumer client (Home).http://home.online.no/~msols/abtwm5.png

Windows Messenger 5.0 (WM5) supports 3 IM (Instant Messaging) services: MSN .NET, Exchange IM (part of exchange 2000) and RealTime Communication Server (RTC, codename Greenwich).
RTC uses an internet standard IM protocol called SIP (Session Initation Protocol) I assume any IM server that supports SIP can have this messenger as client.
This client also supports Ink messages coming from tablet PC’s, This pic shows WM5 on a tablet pc, the receiver of the message also sees the ink messages (when it is turned on the the options)
