FlashFXP v2.0 build 909
FlashFXP is a useful FTP/FXP program with an explorer-like interface. FlashFXPprovides a nice interface for common tasks, and an optional tree view for easy
directory navigation. Features include the ability to queue multiple files for
uploading and downloading, crash recovery (no more lost transfer queues due to
power outages or system crashes), server to server transfers (FXP), FTP proxy,HTTP
Proxy, and SOCKS 4/5 support, remote file viewing & editing, search for files,
and much much more! build 909 – BETA 1
1. Added "Remember last used site in Site Manager" to Pref / Display,
enabled by default.
2. Added List Complete status message.
3. Fixed small graphically glitch in main window.
4. Added support for MVS-IBM mainframe.
5. Added ssl fxp, as far as I know only glftpd supports this.
6. Added "Update Directory Cache During Transfer" to Preferences /
Options Tab. To renew your cache prior to queuing the files within a folder.
7. Added SHIFT modifier to Queue File, when shift is held while queuing it allows
you to add a file/folder into the queue multiple times by passing the check
that prevents duplicates.
8. Fixed You should now be able to connect to SSL (AUTH TYPE) sites via the
OPEN/SITE proxies. I didn’t have a proxy to test with.
9. Fixed inproper parsing of DOS file listings, where in some cases the time
was incorrectly handled resulting in an invalid AM/PM display.
10. Added "Upload Packet Size" to Preferences / Advanced Tab. 4096
is default, 2048 seems to work better on some networks & XBOX transfers.
11. Added "Update Directory Cache During Transfer" to Preferences
/ Options Tab, When checked If a folder is queued FlashFXP will update the cache
& refresh the listing before queuing the folder content.
12. Fixed bug where turning off "display on startup" for the crash
recovery also disabled the crash recovery feature.
13. Fixed compare folder bug when comparing local <> remote.
14. Fixed bug when connecting to a SSL/TLS site via Quick Connect.
15. Fixed system tray tooltip bug when using Ctrl-F9, the tip should of been
masked for security but it was still shown.
16. Fixed bug when using SSL/TLS with a SOCKS4/5 proxy.
When uploading files to an XBOX a buffer size of 2048 seems to provide the
best performance.
