- Color Shadow: Creates a high contrast image overlayed with a gradient, simulating the look and feel of those colorful iPod ?commercials.
- DeBand: Removes banding artifacts from an image by smoothing pixels in banded areas while retaining detail. Banding frequently occurs, in blue skies for instance, with DSLR's as well as digital cameras. DeBand effectively smooths out this unwanted banding.
- DeBlock: Removes blocking artifacts created as a result of high compression factors, such as overly compressed JPG images which often cause square blocking artifacts.

What's New in Dfx v3.0.5?
- Dfx is now compatible with 64 bit versions of Avid Media Composer v6, Symphony v6 and NewsCutter v10.
- Added the general mask blur controls to Paint Mask.
- Added a 100% viewer stop when zooming in the viewer / magnifier.
- Made a change to our multiprocessor libraries on the Mac so that they would not conflict with other manufacturer's multiprocessor plug-in libraries.
- The Brush Size was being shared between EZ Mask and Paint Mask.
- Painting a mask with 0 opacity did not work. It now erases any previously painted areas.
- Masks had no effect on X-Ray.
