ExpanDrive is an extension of the file system. The application, developed by the company Magnetk, allows you to connect SFTP-server or Amazon S3 account so that they operate as ordinary disk drives, for example, USB-disks. ExpanDrive 2.0 is a major upgrade. We've re-written the SFTP core from scratch and it's extremely fast. In addition we now offer support for Amazon S3 and FTP / FTPS as drive types in ExpanDrive. Our GUI has been completely re-written to be simple and sexy. ExpanDrive for Windows offers PuTTY Pageant integration for SSH keys and finally brings multi-user support.

With ExpanDrive, you can securely access any remote file server directly from Finder and Explorer, or even the terminal. No need to open a separate transfer client just for file transfer. ExpanDrive extends the way all applications can access data.

Reconnect with grace

Once you're connected, you stay connected. If you change access points or bring your computer out of sleep, you'll stay connected. ExpanDrive ensures that if a connection is available, your drive is available. You can also set drives to automatically reconnect at login with the click of a button.
