AlienWare released a new GeForce 8800 GTS/GTX driver onto the web today. It’s actually WHQL certified.

Interestingly enough the INF features VISTA’s new driver versioning scheme as well:

old: DriverVer = 11/03/2006, 9.6.9.8
new: DriverVer = 11/03/2006, 6.14.10.9698

It’s likely we’ll replace this set with a version with included modified inf real soon so all GeForce user can use it.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
