Agnitum’s Outpost Firewall Pro 3.5 delivers even better protection against Internet threats with its improved usability, performance, and control.
The following features are new:
- Application rules autocreation allows for automatic creation of rules for well-known applications as soon as they require network access for the first time. This significantly reduces the number of dialog pop-ups that require user responses.
- Agnitum invites you to join the ImproveNet program to improve the quality, security and control features of Outpost Firewall Pro even more! With your consent, Outpost Firewall Pro will collect anonymous information about network-enabled applications on your computer to be used to expand the existing database of known applications so we can make many more automatic access rules available to users.
- Outpost Firewall Pro 3.5 now also features an automatic distribution and update of new rules. After a new access rule has been created based on information from Agnitum’s ImproveNet program, it is automatically shared with other Outpost Firewall Pro users via Agnitum Update to reduce the number of product prompts.
- Anti-Spyware protection is even more tightly integrated with Outpost Firewall Pro’s firewall, providing on-the-fly scanning of all processes that require network access for the first time.
- Improved logging system now uses fewer system resources and provides clearer logs. Outpost Firewall Pro now has the capability of logging specific application activities by defining log exclusions for a particular Internet or network activity. The logging system includes optimized default settings with disabled logging for specific allowing rules.


Together with these major improvements, Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro 3.5 delivers rock-solid stability and usability enhancements.
