Nvidia Releases Newer Nforce 4 Drivers

Nvidia has filed new drivers for its Nforce 4, SLI, and Ultra motherboards. It made a new version – 6.39 and it is now available for download.

You will need to have at least Service Pack 1 installed in order to install the drivers under Windows XP. You need DirectX 9 or higher in order to make NVMixer work. Those are the requirements.

If you have any Nforce 4/Ultra or SLI boards, It is recommended that you get these drivers. Nvidia updated the audio driver to 4.60 (WHQL), Audio utilities to 4.51, Ethernet driver to 4.68 (WHQL), SMBus driver to 4.45 (WHQL), Installer to version 4.60 and IDE NVIDIA driver to 5.07 (WHQL). We can add that the driver is WHQL certified and that it will support dual processor systems. Nvidia also added support for its Disk Alert System and fixed some general compatibility problems.
