Google Index Notification 1.0

The google index notification tool lets you keep track of what pages google is indexing on your site. This is a free tool, and anyone can use it. The query tool will show you which pages are being indexed.

GIN will even notify you via email when google indexes a page. This is a great feature when adding a new site, and wanting to know when google indexes you. The tool is very easy to setup.

All you have to do is include, or require the php script we provide you with below, into your code on your site.

Download the file and unzip it in the root directory of your web documents. ( Files unzipped: README.TXT, gin.php )

  Edit the gin.php file. Setup the variables according to your account information received via email when you registered.

  On the pages you want indexed, require the gin.php file. To be safe use the full path to the file. e.g.

Once google indexes a page, you will be notified via email ( if you enabled it in gin.php ). You can then goto the query tool here.

On a database driven website such as a blog, its best to “require” this in the Template file. If thats not possible, including it in the php file that gets executed most is best.
