There a number of changes to the new Player, some

obvious, such as the new look and feel, and some not so

obvious, such as the improved performance to provide you

with a faster, more reliable experience. Below are some of the

The new music experience with Real Music Guide offers

detailed artist information, recommendations, reviews, and "

most popular" charts; drag and drop playlists for fast access

to favorite music; and easily navigate selections using large,

easy-access buttons.

New Feature tabs, including the new Music & My Library

page, make RealPlayer 10 easier to use than ever by

keeping tasks, radio stations, and your music library close at

hand. In addition a wealth of new feature have been added

to My Library:

Additional features, such as the new Organizer and sidebars,

make finding clips and working with them even easier than

before by putting common tasks at your fingertips while

improved Watch Folders and naming support make it easier

to customize your library.

My Library now offers support for using keywords so you can

add custom descriptions to your music and video clips. Later,

easily find clips in your music collection by searching for

these keywords.

New AutoPlaylists features help you create custom mixes

faster. Compile selections for an AutoPlaylist by Keyword, clip

information, or specific criteria, such as Last Played, length,

and more.

Portable Devices support (with Helix DNA technology built-in)

gives you seamless support for 50+ portable devices in a

variety of form factors, from cell phones to PDAs as well as

traditional and newer MP3 players including iPod for

Windows and Creative Zen with flexible synchronizing

support. You can even search your music library directly from

the Portable Device Manager to find songs to add to your

player, and preview tracks before transferring them.

New Media Formats: RealPlayer includes new native support

for the AAC format as well as the new RealAudio Lossless,

which gives you archive-quality CD sound, but only requires

half the disk space of the standard CD audio format (WAV).

Improved Message Center controls that allow you to better

tailor the number and type of messages Real sends you.

Send Media Link by E-mail lets you quickly e-mail a link for

the audio and video files you’re playing, using your e-mail

program.

PerfectPlay 2 and Live Pause load selections ahead of real

time, enabling you to fast forward, rewind, and pause while

you listen. Song Markers marks song changes, so you can

listen to a specific song or clip again.

Improved CD Burning Performance – it’s faster and supports

more drives, including support for the newest 54x CD-R

drives. The CD Burner also includes CD Text support (lets

you assign track and artist names to files burned onto a CD,

and then view the information on compatible CD players) and

an improved Print CD Jewel Case feature that can create

jewel cases for MP3 and data CDs with a large number of

track listings. We’ve even added a CD Burning history so you

can- burn a CD and then burn it again at a later time.

Need more? How about improved performance with

Windows Media transfer to portable devices and CD

burning? Or, new support for Windows DirectSound,

improves Windows audio compatibility and control, to let you

adjust audio settings within RealPlayer 10 without affecting
