jv16 Powertools v1.4.1.248 released!

The world’s best registry cleaner has been updated again! Version 1.4.1.248 (6th December 2003) is now out, and as usual has a few bug fixes and improvements.The update contains the following changes:

– Fixed the bug that made impossible to change or add comments to the items in registry manager.

– Fixed a minor bug in the script engine. The engine sometimes incorrectly interpreted word “for” as the for loop key word, even if it was used as a data i.e. normal text.

– Fixed the minor sorting bug in the registry cleaner.

– Improved the installation system in a way it doesn’t overwrite your settings (Settings.dat) when updating the program.

– Improved the speed of the Settings window.

– Improved the program’s start up speed.

– Added extra security checks to the registry cleaner.

The last version (v1.4.1.247) seemed uncrackable, as I certainly never found a warezed version. Perhaps this version will get cracked…

It’s well worth running this program once a month to clean up your registry. In all the months I have been using it, it’s never deleted anything it shouldn’t have and it’s kept my registry nice and clean. Highly recommended.
