alpha.echelon.net.ru is a non-profit public server which provides remotely accessible unix shell accounts. <br /><br />disk and bandwidth quota is based on 'fair use' policy.<br /><br />services:<br />remote terminal access (via ssh)<br />file transfer (via sftp/scp)<br />email ([email protected]), pop3 included (not functional)<br />homepage (http://alpha.echelon.net.ru:8000/~username)<br />mysql dba<br />dev. tools (gcc, g++, nasm, perl, php, python) <br />irc: irssi, epic<br /><br />note: some services are still in the process of being added.<br />the server hard drive will be upgraded soon, so make sure you have a backup copy of whatever files you upload for the time being.<br />also, there may be long periods of down time with our current signal; hopefully we can obtain a dedicated fiber optic line later on.<br /><br />if you have any comments or suggestions, please post them below.<br /><br />sign up today!
