ISONews domain ceased by US goverment – mod chip piracy

ISONews seems to have been taken over by the US goverment. Altough the site seems still to be working for some at this time, others are redirected to a website of American deparment of Justice. ISONews is a website dedicated to publish information files that are distributed with pirated software.

However it seems that the Department of Justice could not shut down the site because of the posted info files, but found a way to legally take it over, because on the site mod chips, that enable Playstation (2) devices to play backupped games, were sold. Users are redirected to this website.

David M. Rocci, 22, of Blacksburg, better known by IsoNews visitors as krazy8 has plead guilty and agreed to surrender to the government his public website, .iSONEWS.com.
